THE CHALLENGE

Creating a Real-Time Market Trends Dashboard to Assist with Revenue Predictions

Cisco’s Go to Market unit collects data about market trends which helps various business units set revenue goals while continuously improving customer experience. For this project, the Cisco Go to Market team needed a custom dashboard that displayed real-time data that provided insight into market trends for the purpose of predicting revenue generation. The challenge faced by the Cisco team for a project like this was to gain access to the necessary data and to convert it into a “clean” report that could be used for the required purpose.

WHY CISCO CHOSE AKRAYA

Initially, the Cisco team tried to create the dashboard on their own by hiring individuals with varying expertise and then assigning them to the project. RESULT

The project was completed on time and now enables the Cisco Go to Market Team insight into data that was not previously available. 

The new dashboards create opportunities for unique forecasting and allows the team to predict market trends which has resulted in $20 million in increased revenue.
