Sonu Ratra named to SIA Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list

We’re proud to announce that Akraya Inc.’s co-founder, and President  Sonu Ratra, has been named to Staffing Industry Analysts‘ Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing List for 2021!

As an entrepreneur with a charitable heart, Sonu is passionate about Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace. Her reentry program helps companies boost diversity and acquire highly talented, professional, and qualified women. Her passion lies in supporting, educating, and empowering women in the workplace and globally.

“We have to first start by examining our own biases, both explicit or implicit,” Sonu Ratra, Co-Founder and President of Akraya says. “We all have the responsibility for the equal world we want to create.”

Sonu Ratra is co-founder and president of Akraya Inc., whose diversity initiative Women Back to Work is helping change the narrative for professionals returning to the workforce. Ratra also recently created partnerships to launch return-to-work initiatives in the contingent programs at Splunk, ServiceNow and Pure Storage, and she also built an advisory board and honorary advisory board for Akraya/Women Back to Work. She continues her work with the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women, which is currently helping evacuate Afghan women and their families from Kabul. In September 2021, Ratra was elected chairwoman of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group’s Foundation board.
