Project Methodology
Akraya's solution deployment methodology is based on the open, de-facto industry standard - RUP (Rational Unified Process). Unlike almost most other IT solution vendors, Akraya's standards-based approach provides clients with lower cost, lower risk solutions, and provides the ultimate in vendor independence.

At the same time, our model is also flexible enough to adapt to clients' internal methodologies.

On-site, Offshore
Akraya provides its clients with a range of solutions to meet their schedule and budget constraints. Leveraging its onsite and offshore capabilities, Akraya is often able to provide its clients with solutions at 25%-60% less than other alternatives. Akraya has developed a disciplined Offshore Delivery Methodology (ODM), to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery leveraging blended onsite/offshore development solutions.

While offshore outsourcing offers compelling economic potential, without a rigorous, well-defined and industry-standard methodology, one can end up compromising quality and schedule, thereby compromising customer satisfaction and any potential economic advantage. Offshore Coordination model
The Offshore Coordination Model utilizes our seasoned project managers located in the U.S. who possess the necessary expertise to manage, coordinate and communicate with our offshore development teams located in India. Our clients benefit from the added expertise that Akraya can provide from a reliable and credible source and benefit from significantly reduced development costs.

Our project manager works very closely with your project leader and the development team in India to ensure that system is being developed based on the design specifications. During the development process our project manager maintains a version of the system for your periodical review and gathers your feedback & translates it back to development team.

Our project manager will ensure that the project is executed following our standards and methodology. If you already have a set of standards in place, our team will be glad to implement it. At every stage of the project we insist on system documentation, so that we have less dependency on individuals involved in the project and the project is self-contained. The development can be iterative process steered by your business needs.

Before the commencement of the project, the escalation processes at each step is clearly defined and are approved by the business owners on each side.
